Month of the Tiger
It all begins with an idea.
Month of the Tiger
A bold journey through strength, color, instinct, and untamed creativity.
Month of the Tiger (Verdance Resilience ) is more than a painting series — it became part of a personal journey through grief, healing, and transformation. During the process of creating this work, I experienced the loss of my grandparent through illness and carried the emotional weight of losing my absent father to suicide. These experiences deeply changed my perspective on life, relationships, and personal growth.
Time-lapse from the beginning to the end.
Working on this painting became a space for reflection and release. Each layer of color, movement, and symbolism represented strength through vulnerability, resilience through pain, and the courage to continue forward even during difficult moments. The tiger emerged as a symbol of survival, instinct, and personal power, while the surrounding elements reflected growth, renewal, and emotional transformation.
This piece also represents a commitment to change — embracing healthier paths, new experiences, creativity, and rediscovering purpose through art. Verdance Resilience stands as both a tribute to loss and a reminder that healing is not linear, but it can still create something powerful, vibrant, and alive.
